Privacy Policy
Last updated September 12, 2026
This policy explains what Salter Diaz Solutions LLC collects when you visit salterdiazsolutions.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We have tried to describe what actually happens rather than reserve every right we could.
Who we are
Salter Diaz Solutions LLC is a web and app development and consulting company based in Portland, Oregon. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at contactus@salterdiazsolutions.com or at 3617 SE Morrison St Unit A, Portland, OR 97214.
We are the party responsible for deciding how information collected through this site is handled.
What we collect
There are four ways information reaches us, and no others.
- What you type into the contact form. Your name, your email address, and the message you write. You choose what to put there, and nothing on this site requires you to submit it.
- Analytics about your visit. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from. It records pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information. It does not tell us who you are.
- Spam prevention on the contact form. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated scripts. To do that, it collects device and interaction signals from your browser, and your IP address is sent to Google for verification when you submit the form.
- Ordinary server records. Our hosting and the function that handles the contact form keep standard technical logs, including IP addresses, timestamps and error details. These exist so the site can be operated and debugged.
What we do with it
Contact form submissions are delivered to us as email so that we can reply to you. We do not store them in a database on this site, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If you write to us about a project, we keep that correspondence the way any business keeps its email.
Analytics is used only in aggregate, to decide what to write and what to fix. Spam prevention is used only to keep the contact form usable. Server records are used only to operate and troubleshoot the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes information on our instructions and for no independent purpose of their own.
- Google. Provides our hosting, our analytics, and the reCAPTCHA check on the contact form. Since 2 April 2026, Google acts as our processor for reCAPTCHA data rather than handling it for its own purposes.
- Resend. Delivers contact form submissions to our inbox as email. Your message passes through their systems in the course of being sent.
Cookies and similar technology
We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise repeat visits, and reCAPTCHA sets cookies and reads browser signals to assess whether a submission is automated.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not prevent you from reading anything here, though it may prevent the contact form from being submitted, since the spam check depends on it.
Your browser can also send a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing for that signal to switch off, but we mention it so you know we are not ignoring it.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for the relationship it belongs to, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings, which we keep at the shortest practical period. Server logs are retained for a short operational window and then discarded automatically.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the email address above and we will do it. We will not charge you or make it difficult.
Depending on where you live, you may have these rights under law rather than merely as a matter of our policy, including under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. We are a small company and are unlikely to meet the thresholds that make several of those statutes formally apply to us. We intend to honour the substance of those rights regardless.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, Google publishes a browser add-on for that purpose.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. The credentials used to send contact form email are held in a managed secrets service and are never included in anything sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is meant for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than quietly folded in.
