Terms of Service
Last updated September 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of salterdiazsolutions.com. They cover the website itself. They do not govern any consulting engagement, which is always set out in a separate signed agreement.
Using this site
By using salterdiazsolutions.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You may read, print and share anything published here for your own reference. You may not scrape it at scale, attempt to breach or probe it, use it to send unsolicited messages, or misrepresent yourself when contacting us.
This site does not create a working relationship
Everything on this site is general information about what we do. It is not technical advice for your situation, and reading it does not make you our client.
Contacting us through the form does not create an engagement either, and neither does a discovery call. We begin work only under a written agreement signed by both of us, which sets out scope, deliverables, timing and fees. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, that agreement governs.
Please do not send us confidential or sensitive material through the contact form. Until an agreement is in place, we cannot promise to treat unsolicited material as confidential. Tell us it exists and we will arrange a proper way to receive it.
Our content
The text, design, code, illustrations and layout of this site belong to Salter Diaz Solutions LLC unless attributed otherwise. Our name, logo and brand marks are ours and may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
Where we display another company's name, screenshot or mark, it belongs to them.
Links to other sites
This site links to businesses we operate and occasionally to third parties. We do not control what other sites publish or how they handle your information, and their policies apply once you leave here.
No warranty
This site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that everything on it is current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing here should be relied on as the sole basis for a technical or commercial decision. That is precisely the kind of thing we would want to discuss with you properly first.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Salter Diaz Solutions LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of your use of this site.
For any claim arising from this site, our total liability is limited to one hundred United States dollars. This limit applies to the website only. Liability under a signed engagement is governed by that agreement instead.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
If your misuse of this site, or your breach of these terms, causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.
Sorting out a problem
If something goes wrong, we would much rather fix it than argue about it. Before starting any formal proceeding, please write to us through the contact form or at contactus@salterdiazsolutions.com, describe the problem, and give us thirty days to put it right. We will extend you the same courtesy.
Arbitration
If talking does not resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to this site or these terms will be settled by binding arbitration rather than in court. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, held in Portland, Oregon, before a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
Two things are carved out. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead. And either of us may ask a court for an injunction to stop misuse of intellectual property or unauthorised access to systems, without waiting for arbitration.
Claims must be brought individually. Neither of us may bring a class, collective or representative action, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class proceeding.
You can opt out of this arbitration agreement. Email us at contactus@salterdiazsolutions.com within thirty days of first accepting these terms and say so. Opting out costs you nothing and affects nothing else in these terms.
If the restriction on class claims is found unenforceable, this arbitration section will not apply to that particular dispute, which will instead be heard in the courts named below.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, any dispute arising from this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and both of us consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version.
