Where Recipe privacy policy

Where Recipe collects no personal data. It has no server, no analytics and no account. The extension makes no network requests of its own.
What it reads
The recipe data on the page you ask it to read. This happens on your click, or automatically on sites you have opted in.
What it stores
All of this stays in your browser.
- Settings: display, notice and email choices. If you use your browser's sync, the browser may sync these settings with your browser account.
- Shopping list: recipe names, site names, page addresses and ingredient lines you add. Kept until you remove them.
- Opted-in sites: held by the browser as site permissions. Remove them in settings or in the browser's extension settings.
- Open in tab: the recipe is passed to the new tab and deleted once that tab has read it.
Nothing is saved from private windows.
What leaves your browser
Only what you send yourself.
- Email: opens your mail app or the webmail service you chose, with the recipe or list filled in. That service's privacy policy applies to what you send.
- Images: recipe photos load from the site the recipe came from.
Removing your data
Remove items or clear the list on the shopping list page. Uninstalling the extension deletes its data from this browser.
